Last Saturday was beautiful in SFO. The B-Man and I went with a friend new to town for lunch in the Mission District.

This dog was just hanging out in a window next to Herbivore where we ate lunch. I had been there the day before with my brother and his beautiful wife and son. I had ordered the Indonesian noodle salad, but had difficulty deciding between the peanut or tamarind sauce. We ordered it again this time, but with both sauces on the side. Recommended! We also had the soft taco, coconut soup, chili, and cornbread. All yummy and all vegan. We loved it.

The Whoa Nellies played a bunch of groovy tunes on a stoop for the Dyke March. They stopped when the motorcyle contingent went by (too loud!) and then rocked the rest of the marchers as they walked by. It was a stone-cold groove and everyone loved them.

We wandered into Retrofit on Valencia and bought some wigs. Man, that place is insane. If you’re looking for wigs, fabulous clothing, bling, and excellent service, this be your place! Don’t you think Eileen looks trippy in her pink tresses? We love you, Mr. Lemay!

Graffiti on buildings: I’m not a fan. Graffiti on sidewalks: Love it!

I love walking in this city.
