I don’t want to stress you, my Dear Reader, by revealing the real deal about air travel, but like I’ve always said, “Knowledge is power.”

When I first saw this article in The Economist about what a pre-flight announcement would sound like if they told only the truth, I debated about posting it. I was shocked by what I learned, but I enjoyed it as well. It’s a fun–yet disturbing–read, trust me.

I wish they had included what I consider the most dangerous thing about flying: laptop computers. They’re exploding into flames all over the place! I know they expose fellow passegers to way more danger than a tube of toothpaste.
