Picture me as a teenager, intently listening to the radio and waiting for that one song I loved more than any other, Reunion’s Life is a Rock (But the Radio Rolled Me). It has a lot of words about rock ‘n’ roll nostalgia spoken very fast. The song rocks. I was determined to learn it by heart, even though I knew only a fraction of what the actual words were. I memorized the whole thing phonetically; if Abba could do it, so could I. With this video, I finally found out what the real words are and learn I’ve been singing “dysentary” all this time, instead of “nilsson, harry.” Personally, I think my version has more pathos.
